A “Tomorrow Belongs to You” scholarship recipient will study at MOME Designer-Maker programme

Date: 2024.08.01
Iris Aruwa, who graduated from the Ceramic programme at the Secondary School of Visual and Applied Arts, will continue her studies at MOME’s Designer-Maker programme from September. She is the first participant of the Tomorrow Belongs to You – For the Creative Talents of the Future scholarship programme to successfully gain admission to MOME. Previously, she applied to MOME's Animation programme without success. The scholarship programme has now enabled her to find a track where she can succeed.

The programme helped her regain her confidence in her own potential, while the committee and mentors played a significant role in helping her realise that animation was not the right path for her and guided her back to ceramics. As a community-minded, energetic, cheerful, sympathetic, helpful, and dependable person, she is certain to feel at home at the Zugligeti Road Campus.

As is well known, the mission of the Tomorrow Belongs to You – For the Creative Talents of the Future scholarship programme is to put a creative career within the reach of students, and help them pass the admission entrance examination by providing professional and mental preparation.
