Data Art in Everyday Life

Data Experiment programme by Hungarian Telekom and MOME.
Project overview
One of Hungarian Telekom's priorities is to train and educate its employees. They made this possible this year within several themes, one of which was in collaboration with our Data Storytelling Hub. The Hub’s staff provided mentoring and consultation to participants in the training programme, and the completed data stories were presented in the form of an exhibition at the end of the programme.

Nowadays, knowing and using data is an essential skill, and in some areas of the economy it is a prerequisite for effective work. This includes the ICT sector. As one of the leading players in this sector, Hungarian Telekom decided to enable its colleagues to further explore and deepen their knowledge in this area, and thus the Data Experiment programme was created. Two colleagues from the Data Storytelling Hub participated in this programme as trainers, workshop facilitators and mentors.

Throughout the programme, the researchers supported the implementation of the programme through short thematic presentations and group and individual mentoring. The results were presented in an exhibition at the organisation's annual employee day. The exhibition was complemented by an artwork by Gábor Kristóf, which he created for Hungarian Telekom in cooperation with MOME as part of the programme.
