
Biography
He graduated from the Hungarian College of Arts and Design (the precursor to Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in 1983. He founded his own design business, Gettoplan, in 1991, which is still active today. In 2009 he earned his DLA degree at the Marcel Breuer Doctoral School of the Pollack Mihály Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Pécs, and achieved habilitation in 2012. He is a defining figure of the contemporary architecture of Pécs. He responds sensitively to the natural and built environment with his creations, crafting contemporary houses and interiors that cater to modern needs and lifestyles. It is his philosophy that in architecture, art and technical science create an inseparable unity. The Ybl Prize-winning architect has been a lecturer of the Master’s School of the Master Association of Architects since 2002. He is currently a professor at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and department head of the Institute of Architecture.
