Péter Tímár is a master instructor at the wood workshop. He believes that learning should always be enjoyable. In the wood workshops led by him, students learn about the following: experimenting with wood materials (bending, making wooden structures, combining materials, etc.), organising demonstrations, using machines, work safety, creating and modifying wooden structures and joints as required. He teaches adults how to use woodworking tools, sharpening them and the treatment of wooden surfaces.

Biography
Professional résumé: He started teaching at the Kozma Lajos Woodworking Technical School in 2011, where he taught practical classes in machine and manual workshops on machine use, safe working practices, building and furniture structures, and his favourite, woodturning.
In 2019, Péter started teaching at MOME where he has mostly been teaching architecture students how to build structures, safe machine use practices and thesis work for students of any major at the university.
