He is the former rector of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, as well as being a university professor and programme leader on the animation training programmes. He is also a visual communication designer, illustrator, animated film director and producer. He has been a teacher at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design since 2001 and since 2005 he has been the head of the animation. He is the author of the BA and MA training programmes in Hungary. Since 2010 he has been the head of the animation department, which he also founded, and since 2014 he has been the rector of MOME.

Biography

József Fülöp graduated from the College of Applied Arts in the 1990s. He was then the leader of image design at various animation studios and television channels. As a director, he has created commercials and interactive content, designed characters for animated series, and worked as an illustrator for Hungarian and international magazines. As a producer of animated films, he has achieved considerable success at national and international festivals.
