Biography
Csaba Gosztonyi, aged 47, graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University with a degree in humanities, became editor-in-chief of the Kreatív (Creative) magazine group at the age of 26 and was one of the first to sell paid professional content on the Hungarian internet in the early 2000s. He has been continuously engaged in the creative industries and the education of young professionals during his career of more than 20 years. He has run a professional radio programme, edited creative and marketing journals, a marketing magazine of academic rank, produced thematic events under the auspices of trade magazine publishers, the Hungarian Advertising Association and his own advertising agency, Carbon Group Communication, and developed a professional database and gap-filling courses specifically for actors. He is the professional ambassador of the most prestigious creative industry festival in the region and member of the jury of several branding competitions in Hungary. Over the years, he has won Hungarian and international creative professional awards, advertising effectiveness awards and the award Highlights of Hungary with his various projects. In 2017, Golden Drum elected him to its Hall of Fame for his contributions to the creative community in the region.
Prior to his managerial position at MOME Open, he led his start-up company Szabadszínész (Available Actor), which he had developed together with actor Tamás Lengyel. His hobby is acting, and he has helped and still helps many theatre groups and projects on a pro bono basis. He has been a proud MOME citizen since 27 September 2021.
