
Biography
Attila Róbert Cosovan (born: Máramarossziget, Romania, 25 March 1970) is a six-time Red Dot Design Award winner and Noémi Ferenczy Award-winning designer, professor at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and Corvinus University of Budapest, and co-founder of the 23-year-old design studio COANDCO.CC.
He studied at three universities: the Faculty of Design at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, the Faculty of Aesthetics at ELTE and the Department of Visual Communication at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts (now MOME). He obtained a doctoral degree in 2010.
As an educator and researcher, he publishes papers, as a designer, he designs brands, products and services. He has been a Member of the Hungarian Design Council since 2012, and a member of the Design Terminal Advisory Board since 2013. He habilitated in the same year. Attila has been a habilitated associate professor of Budapest Corvinus University since September 2015, and since 2018, he has been a university professor at the Marketing and Design Communication Department of Corvinus University.
