Stipendium Hungaricum 2024/2025

Stipendium Hungaricum is a scholarship program for foreign students, which was launched by the Hungarian Government in 2013. The program aims to promote cultural understanding, economic and cultural relations between Hungary and other countries.

The Hungarian Government established the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme to promote the internationalisation of Hungarian higher education and to attract top international students from all around the world who can establish personal and professional links to Hungary while enjoying high-quality education in the heart of Europe. The scholarship can be awarded to citizens from over 90 sending countries for full degree or partial (exchange) studies.

The benefits for scholarship holders include:

Exemption from paying application and tuition fees,
The amount of the scholarship is HUF 43,700 for students in our master's programmes
Place in a dormitory or HUF 40,000/month accommodation allowance for 12 months of the year,
Health care services,
Visa and residence permit administration.

In the 2024/2025 academic year, eight Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship students are pursuing their studies in our English-language MA programs at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. The project with number KKM/31443-3/2024/Adm. is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
