Reclaiming the City for Children

‘Reclaiming the City for Children’ is the topic of the next Architectural Matters conference, exploring how cities can be designed with children’s needs in mind, and what happens when urban planning focuses on the youngest residents.
The discussion will be led by Executive Director of the Tirana Relationship Center (Qendra Marrëdhënie, QM) and Creative Director of the Start with Children Summit in Bratislava Simon Battisti. Through QM, he played a key role in Tirana’s school street programme, which reimagines public space and mobility from the perspective of local communities. As a co-founder of the Start with Children Summit, he continues to shape the future of child-centred urban planning on a global scale.
