Media Studies

Media Studies is a shared visual foundation training for all BA programmes of the Media Institute is to be completed in the first semester over a period of 10 weeks, four times a week in 4-hour sessions. Media Studies is designed to provide all first-year Media Institute students with an identical knowledge base, with comprehensive visual communication skills including basic photography, motion picture editing, typography, and presentation skills. The assignments of the semester focus on fostering overall visual creativity and a design and problem-solving mindset that also relies on world creative building techniques already used in entertainment design, and the related design thinking methods.
