Media Design and Virtual Convergence

How are technology, art, and theoretical research shaping new forms of presence and virtual experiences? The MOME Media Design programme is hosting a one-day English-language conference titled Media Design and Virtual Convergence.

The conference will explore contemporary immersive media and the latest approaches to interdisciplinary design. The aim is to invite collective reflection on new media experiences emerging in an increasingly virtual world. The presentations and panel discussions will focus on digital art, artificial intelligence, interactive spaces, media theory, and the interconnections of new technologies. The keynote will be delivered by Dean of the Virtual Convergence College at Chung-Ang University in Korea Wi Jong Hyun, PhD, titled The Future of Immersive Media for Industry, Society, and Human Life.
